BOTOX Cincinnati is used to reduce wrinkles, frown lines and crow’s feet. It is the most popular treatments when it comes to reducing wrinkles. BOTOX Cosmetic is an FDA approved treatment to help reduce wrinkles and facial lines. It is produced from Botulinum toxin and it reduces muscle activity by blocking certain nerves.
BOTOX is a toxin that blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles to stop movement, which helps the wrinkles soften and relax. The injectable is a needle that is injected to the selected areas. Once the procedure is finished the results will vary and they will last about 3-6 months.
Xeomin Cincinnati is an FDA approved treatment used to treat moderate to severe frown lines and wrinkles. Xeomin has recently been approved to treat crow’s feet and forehead wrinkles. Xeomin is produced from bacteria that causes botulism, it then blocks the nerve activity which reduces the muscle activity, which causes the frown lines and wrinkles to soften.
Xeomin (Botulinum toxin type A) acts on muscle nerves which prevents muscle activity. By reducing muscle activity Xeomin can reduce lines between the eyebrows temporarily. The treatment takes about 10-20 minutes. The doctor will then inject it into the targeted area.
Even though BOTOX and Xeomin are each other’s competitor they do have some things in common. They are both injectables and both treat wrinkles, crow’s feet and facial lines. Both procedures take the same amount of time.
Yes, they do have some similarities, but here are their differences. One main difference between the two is that Xeomin contains one ingredient, which is Botulinum Toxin A so it doesn’t contain any additives. BOTOX and Xeomin both block the nerve activity when injected into the muscle which paralyzes muscle activity, but the process is different for each. When BOTOX is injected it first must free itself from its protein and then it goes with the muscle and softens it. Xeomin is quite different. When Xeomin is injected, it doesn’t need to free itself from a protein because as soon as it is inserted it attaches to the muscle activity.
BOTOX and Xeomin do have some similarities and differences, but it depends on you, the client which procedure you think will work better for you.
